Dr. Giust began her career as an educator, working in a high school setting in Ohio. Upon receiving her Master’s Degree in Adult Education & Human Resource Development, Dr. Giust managed a postsecondary program for college-aged students with intellectual disabilities at Florida International University. She pursued her doctorate in the same area of study, focusing on career development for adults with disabilities. The common thread throughout her career has been mentoring individuals of all ages and abilities. When working with students, Dr. Giust aims to provide a safe environment where students can be themselves, ask questions, make mistakes, and take risks.
