Dr. Madeleine M. Reyes, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC, CPN, PMHS received her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), Master’s in Nursing (MSN) and Bachelor’s in Nursing (BSN) at Florida International University (FIU). She currently works as an Advanced Psychiatric Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) at a corrections facility and Faculty member at various Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Graduate Nursing Program. Dr. Reyes has worked professionally as a researcher in community-based research settings in various areas, including pediatric patients with mental health illnesses and drug abuse. Furthermore, she has founded her own Telehealth Practice to serve clients in many rural states who can not obtain mental health services. Lastly, She has a publication titled: Systematic Review: An Educational Strategy to Improve Medication Compliance and Decrease Hospital Readmission among Adolescents with Bipolar Disorder presented in the Neuroscience Educational Institute in November 2019.
