Lynn C Parsons, PhD, RN, NEA-BC
Dr. Lynn C. Parsons has served as Professor and Department Chair/Nursing since August 2011. Prior to that she served as Associate Professor, Professor, Associate Director for Research & Development in the School of Nursing, Interim Associate Dean for the College of Basic & Applied Sciences, Director of the School of Nursing from 1995-2011 at Middle Tennessee State University. She was a doctoral student, doctoral candidate and Instructor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in the graduate program, MSN Nursing Administration track from 1993-1995. She was a staff RN, charge RN, Assistant Nurse Manager for Neuro Rehabilitation, Nurse Manager Neurorehabilitation, and Nurse Manager for an Orthopaedic Trauma and Surgical Unit at Marquette General Hospital’s teaching/referral organization from 1979-1993. She is certified as a Nurse Executive Advanced through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. L. Parsons is an accreditation site reviewer for CCNE and ACEN.
