Dr. Lucinda Muncy’s formal training is in human resource management where she has served in various roles over her 20+ year career. Dr. Muncy serves as a SR Human Resources Generalist in Healthcare. She started her career in human resources in the manufacturing industry, then moved in the healthcare industry and finally into higher education. At Walden University, she teaches graduate courses in the MS Human Resource Management Program.

Dr. Muncy’s current research interests focus primarily on using servant leadership characteristics in the workplace. Her dissertation research focused on the experiences of human resource professionals regarding empathy in the workplace. Dr. Muncy is PHR, SHRM-CP certified and is also a certified career coach. She serves on the board of directors for a Chapter of SHRM in Georgia.
