Dr. Lori Barthel is a contributing faculty member for the master’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor and Telehealth approved therapist in the state of Louisiana. She is a National Certified Counselor and a National Certified School Counselor. Dr. Barthel has been practicing clinically for over 15 years in the K-12 public school system as a professional school counselor and mental health provider and as the owner of a private practice offering mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, and couples. Her professional counseling presentations have focused on educating professionals on youth suicide prevention and intervention, mental health issues of adolescents, mindset matters, restorative practices, and mindfulness.
