Linnaya M. Graf received her PhD in Public Health, Community Education and Health Promotion from Walden University in June 2011. She works full-time in field of public health as an Assistant Professor, Instructional Mentor, and Wellness Consultant. She is a contributing faculty member at Walden University, beginning in 2017. She holds a license as a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES, #22800, PA, 2014), and Certified Prevention Specialist (CPS, PA, 2017). Dr Graf has taught courses in qualitative research design methodology including case study, phenomenology, grounded theory, and foundations of research at another university. She also currently teaches Health Agency Management, Social & Behavioral Applications of Theory in Public Health, and a practicum course for MPH students as an Assistant Professor at another University. For the State of Pennsylvania’s Dept. of Drug and Alcohol Programs, Dr Graf is a contracted trainer for Prevention 101 and Prevention Ethics. While her past research focused on prevention, resilience, and violence prevention. Her current research has focused on stress and resilience, evaluation of prevention programming, and whole health wellness in vulnerable populations. She has produced a number of professional, peer-reviewed publications and professional presentations related to these areas of research.
