Leanne Wood

Dr. Leanne Wood Charlesworth is a contributing faculty member in Walden University's undergraduate social work program (BSW Program). She has been teaching undergraduate and graduate social work courses, and administering social work education programs, full-time since 2003.

Dr. Wood Charlesworth is a member of the Council on Social Work Education. She is also a contributing author and editor of a Human Behavior textbook (Sage Publications), and her research interests include homelessness and poverty. Her social work practice experience is primarily in child welfare systems. She has served as a research and evaluation consultant to initiatives in areas ranging from child and family services to homelessness.
