LeAnn Morgan

Dr. LeAnn M. Morgan is an Associate Professor and Adjunct Faculty Supervisor in the School of Counseling at Walden University. She is a past recipient of the Walden University Faculty Excellence Award (2022) and serves as the subject matter expert and course manager for the “Military Culture” and “Working with Military Spouses, Families, and Children” courses. She is a Certified School Counselor in Colorado and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado, Michigan, and Wyoming; a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Maine; and a TLHT Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. She is also a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS). She serves as Treasurer of the European Branch of the American Counseling Association (EB-ACA) and as a member of the School Counselor Educator Advisory Board for "College Counseling Now" within the Center for Equity and Postsecondary Attainment. She also serves as an editorial board member for The Career Development Quarterly, as an editorial reviewer for the Journal of Social, Behavioral, and Health Sciences, and the Asia Pacific Career Development Journal. Her research interests include leader development in counselor education, counseling military-connected clients and families, equity and access in counselor education and supervision, ethical use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in counselor education programs, and the intersection of women's mental health and perimenopause/menopause.
