Laura Pipoly earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Hiram College. She then graduated summa cum laude with her master's degree from Youngstown State University in education with a specialization in both school counseling and mental health counseling. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a certified K-12 school counselor. She holds a doctorate degree in Special Education and has over 10 years of higher education teaching experience. Her primary areas of research are related to higher education and animal assisted therapy. Laura has several professional presentations and publications on a variety of topics and maintains the National Board Certified Counselor credential. Laura helps graduate students in the counseling field make real world connections between their classroom learning and the field.
