Larry Chandler
As a practitioner−scholar, Dr. Chandler has experience in military management, leadership, and research; as an entrepreneur; and more than 20 years of experience as both a student and instructor at the university level. Having served in the Air Force as an airman, a Master Sergeant, and a Colonel, Dr. Chandler remains a lifelong learner. Dr. Chandler’s experience also includes 35 years of successful leadership and management experience in aircraft and munitions maintenance (nuclear and conventional) and Explosive Ordnance Disposal organizations. Dr. Chandler holds a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) airframe and powerplant mechanics certificate and a FAA Inspection Authorization (IA). Dr. Chandler completed a double-major in psychology at the University of Maryland University College, a MBA degree at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a PhD at Northcentral University. In 2011, Dr. Chandler founded Aviation Resources, LLC, a management and technical consulting company to provide research, analysis, and marketing services to small manufacturing companies and present educational seminars on aviation-related topics. Dr. Chandler has been teaching organizational leadership at Walden University since 2013.
