Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

Kristina (Tina) has been working in the medical field since she was a junior in high school. She started working in the field with her CNA and continued to add degrees throughout the year with ultimately, obtaining her DNP in 2020. Tina has been working as a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2012 and has experience in the ER, urgent cares, Minute Clinics, employer health centers, and primary care. She has been teaching since 2014, when she started teaching at Rasmussen University in the LPN program. Since that time, she has taught ADN, BSN, MSN, and DNP courses. She particularly enjoys teaching within the family practice concepts as well as quality improvement projects.

Tina is currently teaching within the MSN/DNP programs at Walden and is working with many students throughout their DNP Projects.
