Kristina Ballard received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing as a Registered Nurse from Grand Canyon University in 2013. Following progression of her clinical experience in the Intensive Care Unit, Post Anesthesia Care Unit and Emergency Department in 2018 she obtained her master’s degree in nursing in with emphasis in Adult Gerontology and begun her career as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in the Emergency Department. Subsequently in 2020 she joined Walden University as an adjunct clinical faculty where she continued to strive for transformational and scholarly development of her students and peers while mentoring and precepting in the acute care setting. In 2022 she completed her doctoral degree from University of Texas at Arlington. Currently Dr. Ballard works as a Urology Nurse Practitioner in Maine and Part-time/PRN Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner in Texas.
