Dr. Kimberly Toler's formal training is in child welfare/protective services and public administration where she held various roles during her 30+ year career. Dr. Toler is a Licensed Independent Social Worker in the state of Ohio and has worked with private and public entities nationally regarding improving permanency outcomes for youth in the care of a public child protective service agency. She has also taught a variety of social work and public administration/human services courses online and in brick and mortar schools. At Walden University , she is a contributing faculty member and teaches in the MSW Program, College of Social and Behavioral Sciences.
