Summary of Role at Walden: Dr. Nelms Smarr considers it an honor to be Doctoral Student Committee Subject Matter/Content and Research Methods Expert for the PhD Developmental Psychology program. As a part of this role, Dr. Nelms Smarr is responsible for mentoring doctoral students through the dissertation process as a subject/content and research/methodology expert; serving as either a chair or second member of dissertation committees as well as engaging and supporting doctoral students as emerging scholar-practitioners.
