Kenneth Larimore spent 25 years in treatment foster care and during that time he founded two foster care agencies. The second agency was also licensed through the Department of Mental Health and had CARF certification. Dr. Larimore spent 10 to 12 years in private practice (part-time) as a therapist. Dr. Larimore has spent multiple years teaching as an adjunct (1990 to 2010). In 2010, he was hired as a full-time professor in the social work program at Ohio University. Dr. Larimore also continued working as an adjunct until 2018. Kenneth Larimore has been an adjunct at Central Ohio Technical College, Strayer University, Liberty University, Mt. Vernon Nazarene University, Ohio Christian University, Indiana Wesleyan University, and Walden University until he was hired at Walden full-time January 2018.
