Kelly A. Martin, FNP-BC, MSN obtained a post-master’s certification in Family Nurse Practitioner and Nurse Education from Southern Illinois University. Kelly has taught nursing at all levels for 15+ years, with many of those years involving online education. Currently, Kelly is involved in a primary care practice and teaches online. As a FNP, Kelly, has 11+ years of experience, with 20+ years of nursing experience prior to becoming a nurse practitioner. Kelly is currently pursuing her Doctor of Nursing practice and should complete that degree in December 2019. There are many areas of interest, but the keenest interests involve access to primary care, domestic violence, STD reduction, and the growing concern with opiate abuse.
