Dr. Kathrin Hohenstern has been a social worker for 23 years, with experience providing group and individual therapy for mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders. Most recently she has been a suicide prevention social worker in a remote telehealth program for Veterans. She completed a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree at University of Kansas in 2001 and a PhD in social work at Walden University in 2019 with a focus on disaster, crisis, and intervention. She ​has been in higher learning since 2017 with two universities.
