Dr. Coulter is a Clinical Instructor at Walden University. She has been teaching in higher education since 2013. She is also practicing as an APRN in family practice since 2012. To date, To date, her research program has focused implementing evidenced based practice in nursing and quality improvement, particularly with underserved populations and rural health settings. She has published on diabetes education in rural communities, sepsis, and technology in higher education.
