Dr. Kashera Guy Robinson is a social work professional and educator with more than 25 years of practice experience in juvenile justice, K-12 education, and mental health settings. She has taught online, hybrid, and in-person courses over the past 20 years at a number of institutions and enjoys educating the next generation of social work professionals. Dr. Guy Robinson is active in a number of professional social work organizations including the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), the School Social Work Association of America (SSWAA), and the School Social Workers Association of Georgia (SSWAG).

Dr. Guy Robinson's primary role with Walden University will be teaching bachelors level courses in the social work program. Her research interests include looking at the impact that the trauma of transgenerational racism continues to have on chronically absent Black school-aged youth.
