Joyce Hojnacki has had over 40 years of teaching and administrative experience working as an elementary, high school, college instructor, and administrator. Her undergraduate degree is in History, Science, and Religion from Medaille College in Buffalo, New York. Her masters are in Education from Canisius College in Buffalo, a master’s in School Administration from Florida International University in Miami, Florida, and her third master’s is in Counseling/Sociology from the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio. She is a lifelong learner. Education has been a great adventure for her. Prior to assuming this role of teaching at Walden University she was the Director of Guidance at a local high school, Director of Curriculum before that and also was a Principal for twenty years and a classroom teacher. During this time, she made sure to remain in contact with students by teaching a course here and there. Whenever possible, she spends time tutoring ESE students at our local college and teaching senior’s basic computer. Her favorite things to do are swimming and reading. The season of the year dictates which one gets more of her time.
