Joseph Galan

Hello! My name is Joe Galan. I am currently in a full time role at University of Chicago Medicine as Director within the Perioperative & Procedural Services department. Nursing was my second career, as I previously worked in finance/accounting in the private sector. I have graduated with my Doctoral degree in Nursing Practice (DNP) in Systems Leadership (2022) from Rush University and Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Olivet Nazarene University in (2020). I ​have always been passionate about teaching, ​and enjoy utilizing my unique experience to serve in education and improve healthcare systems.
