Dr. Lee is a retired law enforcement executive, senior advisor, and strategy consultant who has championed diversity and inclusion in public safety, law enforcement, and higher education. Dr. Lee is the former National Executive Director and Past South Jersey President of the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives. Currently, he serves as Program Coordinator of the Criminal Justice Department of Walden University, senior consultant to the Executive Search and Assessment Center team for the International Association of Chiefs of Police. In this role, Dr. Lee oversees various extensive management studies of police agencies, both domestic and international, including public safety on university campuses. Dr. Lee specializes in working with police agencies and communities where racial and ethnic tensions exist.

Furthermore, Dr. Lee has collaborated with 4 U.S. Attorney Generals in his role as the Executive Director of National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives to address public policy-related concerns to special populations, minorities, and community relations. He is a skilled researcher who specializes in conducting focus groups to develop quantitative and qualitative data collection instruments to address management and organizational problems related to diversity and inclusion, in addition to his work with national and international law enforcement organizations. Dr. Lee has served on several national boards and advisory boards, including Community Policing Consortium, National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children minority advisory board. Dr. Lee earned his Ph.D. in Public Administration, Homeland Policy Coordination, with a specialization in Leadership.

Dr. Lee is a graduate of the 195th Session of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) National Academy in Quantico, Virginia, and a graduate of Northwestern University’s Traffic Institute School of Staff and Command (53rd) in Evanston, Illinois.
