Jenny Swearingen

Dr. Swearingen has served as a Contributing Faculty member at Walden University since 2005. She retired as a Professor Emeritus from a South Georgia private college where she was Chair of the Business Division. She holds a BA in Business Management from the University of South Florida, a Master of Business Administration, and a Doctorate of Business Administration (with a Specialization in Marketing) from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Swearingen has a background in banking and retail management. She has published research on online instruction, course management systems, minority-owned businesses, and the recreational boating industry.
