Dr. Thompson is a Core Faculty Member for the School of Counseling at Walden University. She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). Dr. Thompson's research interests and passions include ethically integrating alternative treatments, such as astrology and tarot, in therapy. She is also very passionate about educating therapists about the mental health benefits of African Traditional Religions.
