Dr. Janet Booker has been in a university setting since 1997 and she currently resides in Northern Arizona. Dr. Booker received a Bachelor of Science in Health Education degree, a Master of Arts in Organizational Management, and a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership. She is currently enrolled in Biblical study classes for enjoyment, and considers herself a lifelong learner. Dr. Booker’s business-related experience includes director of ombuds services, supervisor, small business co-owner, and a manager of a group home for the mentally ill. Educational-related experiences include chairing doctoral committees, faculty trainer, faculty train the trainer, university ADA accommodations officer, faculty workshop facilitator, faculty mentor, education manager, student resolution committee, student workshop facilitator, course development , faculty tone and faculty mentor workshop curriculum developer, academic liaison, instructional specialist, and faculty recruiter. Her research interests are Higher Education, Student Success, Management, Leadership, (employee rights, change management, dispute resolution, workplace organization and culture tactics), ADA Accommodations, Entrepreneurship and Small Business, Mental Health management, Online Course management, and Motivation.
