In the EdD Early Childhood Education specialization, you’ll build skills and progress toward your final capstone project in every course.

In general, students are continuously registered in the dissertation/doctoral study course until they complete their capstone project and it is approved. This usually takes longer than the minimum required terms in the dissertation/doctoral study course shell.
To complete a doctoral dissertation, students must obtain the academic approval of several independent evaluators including their committee, the University Research Reviewer, and the Institutional Review Board; pass the Form and Style Review; gain approval at the oral defense stage; and gain final approval by the Chief Academic Officer. Dr. Ify Diala has a Ph.D. in Organization and Management with specialization in Information Technology Management. She is consistently a high performing Leader with a knack for detail and a “just get it done” attitude with over 18 years of experience in all aspects of hardware, software, and application deployments. Well organized, results oriented individual with proven ability to implement standards, procedures and processes. She has managed and led technical and business teams on a day to day basis, led high visibility projects –from initiation to close strengthening business opportunity through strategic technology planning and focused on establishing/building strong relationships with clients. In addition, Dr. Diala have been teaching for over 10 years, she teaches core courses and serves as a chair and mentor to Ph.D. and DBA students. An exceptional professor who is able to develop and motivate students to achieve targets, demonstrate strong ability to mentor doctoral learners to manage studies from conception through to successful completion. She is a proactive individual with a logical approach to challenges.
