Dr. Gina Crean, LCSW, is an adjunct faculty professional in the School of Social Work at Walden University. She has been working in child welfare for over a decade. Dr. Crean has extensive experience while serving different roles at Children's Advocacy Centers, and was most recently the Director of Clinical Programs and Intervention at the Nashville Children's Alliance. Currently, she is working as a consultant to Children's Advocacy Centers throughout the United States and the National Center for Victims of Crime. Gina is a Certified Trauma Professional and Certified First Responder Counselor. She has specific experience in the area of mental health, specifically severe trauma, vicarious trauma, mass violence and child sex trafficking.

In addition, Gina owns and provides mental health treatment at a private practice to those that have experienced trauma; specifically first responders. She also teaches has fulfilled roles as adjunct faculty at multiple Schools of Social Work since 2016
