M.S. Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling
Dr. Vera is a well-known counselor educator and pedagogy bilingual scholar from Venezuela. For over 30 years, he has been a counseling professor, counseling supervisor, and counseling practitioner. He lived in New Orleans, Louisiana, for several years where he received his Master and Ph.D. degrees from the University of New Orleans. He is an Emeritus Professor from the Counselors Education Program at the University of Zulia where he taught counseling and psychology courses for over 20 years. He and his wife love to travel around the World for research, professional, and tourism reasons. They have been married for 30 years. They have two children, a 26 years old daughter, a clinical psychologist and a counseling practitioner and a 21 years old son, an electronic engineer.
