Fawzi Awad

Dr. Awad had completed his BS in Environmental and Public Health and his MS in Public Health from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. He has also completed his PhD study from Walden University. His dissertation focus was on a case study targeting the best quality factors that impact patients experience and satisfaction.

He has more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry more focused on quality and process improvement management, accreditation achievement both for hospitals and health plans, and compliance review and implementation.

He has been working for Capella University, School of Nursing and Health Sciences as a Part-Time Faculty where he is teaching several courses among them:
1. Preparing for the Professional Doctorate in Nursing and Health Sciences.
2. Strategic Financial Management in Health Care.
3. Patient Safety and Quality Improvement.
4. Regulatory Compliance for Health Care Leaders
He is serving as member and committee chairs for three Doctoral Dissertation Health Care Administration Students. In addition, he serves as a mentor for seven Doctoral Capstone Health Care Administration Students.

Dr. Awad had several quality and clinical effectiveness management and leadership role in several national and international hospitals.
