Dr. Evelyn Ogden, received her doctoral degree from Rutgers in Education Evaluation, Psychological Measurement and Statistics. In administrative roles at the local, state and federal levels her focus has been on development, evaluation and dissemination of evidence based programs in all curriculum areas. At the behest of the United States Department of Education she authored the Nation’s Best Schools; Blue prints for Excellence, Vol 1 and 2. K-12. She was primary researcher of major studies of effectiveness of university reading, instruction practice and technology master’s degree programs. She is the author of six books, Programs that Work, reports on effective schools, and programs for at-risk students.
