Erik Naglee currently serves as a high school principal in North Carolina. He is currently serving in his 6th year at the high school level having also completed two years as a middle school principal and four years as an elementary principal in which is now the highest performing elementary school in the district. He was named the Guilford County Schools Principal of the Year and also the Piedmont Triad Region Principal of the Year. Mr. Naglee was one of 8 finalists for North Carolina principal of the year. It has been a wild ride as an administrator and he enjoys serving students in the county regardless of the grade level. Prior to serving as a principal, he served as the Title I Director overseeing approximately 29 million dollars in federal funds and providing service to 55 Title I schools that were eligible. Mr. Naglee began his career in education teaching both 3rd and 5th grade. He is a graduate of Greensboro College and UNC- Chapel Hill and is the final stages of publishing his dissertation in which he has already presented and been approved on.
