Emily R. Green, Ph.D. has a multi-disciplinary background in Sociology (M.S.) and Educational Leadership (Ph.D.) from Clemson University. She is currently a contributing faculty member at Walden University. Her previous employment experience includes serving as supervisor for a survey research laboratory as well as working as a research and teaching assistant. She has completed various projects, local to international in scope, in both P-12 schools and higher education institutions. She was published in the Journal of Technology in Student Affairs. Her research interests involve transitions in higher education, P-20 education, virtual education, and rural education. Currently she resides in Pendleton, South Carolina with her family on a small heritage sheep farm.
