Elizabeth Gondek

Elizabeth Gondek has been a member of the Walden University adjunct faculty in the College of Nursing for the past ten years, and is currently primarily teaching Nursing Informatics. She received a PhD in Human and Organizational Development from Fielding Graduate University, has a MS in Nursing Administration from Boston University and a Post Masters certificate in Nursing Informatics from Duke University. Currently she is the Clinical Informaticist at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston. Prior to that she was a Professional Development Specialist at Massachusetts General Hospital, working on the implementation of an electronic documentation system and then working with Partners Health Care as part of their EHR implementation. She has also been an Informatics Nurse Specialist at Boston Children's Hospital, where her primary responsibility was Clinical Reporting. At Boston Children's Hospital she also held positions as staff nurse (PACU), nursing director (acute care and ambulatory), project director and clinical process architect.
