Edward Walker
Dr. Edward G. Walker is an FBI National Academy graduate and has more 34 years of law enforcement and security experiences with command staff leadership experience and has held administrative positions in higher education. He also has 21 years with United States Army Reserve and served as Drill Sergeant Instructor TRADOC certified. He has designed, developed, and delivered educational courses and training for several institutions. Dr. Walker appreciates the benefits of solving real-world challenges by combining academic and practitioner perspectives. He has held police command staff positions in Miami, Florida for the fourth largest school district and senior leadership for Marion County the metropolis area of Indianapolis, Indiana. He also served as a director for a National Institute of Justice (NIJ) grant, Campus Shield, integrating technology and human resources for proactive intelligence. Further he directs international police training in Haiti and the United Arab Emirates. Dr. Walker joined Walden as Contributing Faculty, teaching DBA courses and guiding students through the doctoral study process.
