Dr. Donna Hudson received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Shenandoah University Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy earning the Dean's Award after she received her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree from Virginia Commonwealth University Medical College of Virginia. She has worked as a clinical pharmacist in various hospitals, infusion centers, ambulatory clinics, home infusion pharmacies, and as a consultant pharmacist for hospitals and long term care facilities. For multiple hospitals, Dr. Hudson has created medication safety programs and has a Medication Safety Professional Certification as well as certifications in Pain Management/Opioid Analgesic Therapy, and Immunizations. She has a passion for teaching and has taught various courses for multiple universities where she teaches Doctor of Pharmacy students, Doctor of Nurse Practitioner students, and joined Walden University in 2022 as Contributing Faculty in the Master of Nursing program. Dr. Hudson’s areas of expertise include psychopharmacology, psychotherapeutics, medication safety, pain management, and immunizations.
