Don Macon

Dr. Macon is Contributing Faculty in the College of Interdisciplinary Undergraduate Studies. Besides his teaching responsibilities, he has designed an undergraduate course within the college.

He has been teaching online since 2005 and for Walden University since 2021.

Dr. Macon has varied interests and teaching areas: interdisciplinary humanities, history, composition and literature, education, leadership, psychology, librarianship, and graduate research.

Dr. Macon's professional experience is not only in college/university education; he is an experienced K-12 educator with current credentials in New Mexico and Texas. He has been a high school teacher as well as librarian besides his university affiliations.

He has been awarded Professor of the Year and Teacher of the Year for two different campuses, and those are the highlights of his teaching career.
