In the EdD Early Childhood Education specialization, you’ll build skills and progress toward your final capstone project in every course.

In general, students are continuously registered in the dissertation/doctoral study course until they complete their capstone project and it is approved. This usually takes longer than the minimum required terms in the dissertation/doctoral study course shell.
To complete a doctoral dissertation, students must obtain the academic approval of several independent evaluators including their committee, the University Research Reviewer, and the Institutional Review Board; pass the Form and Style Review; gain approval at the oral defense stage; and gain final approval by the Chief Academic Officer. Doles Jadotte, LCSW, Ph.D., is a Contributing (Part Time) Faculty at Walden University College of Social and Behavioral Sciences. Dr. Jadotte has a Graduate Certificate in Qualitative Research and is a State of Florida Certified Sexual Assault Victim Advocate. He has taught in the graduate program at Barry University School of Social Work and also served as instructor for the Social Work program at Florida Memorial University. In addition, he served as a Part-Time Faculty/Dissertation Mentor at Capella University, Department of Psychology, Harold Abel School of Social and Behavioral Sciences. He is currently a Medical Social Worker at the Florida Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). His research interests include sexual violence, gender ideology, social policy, immigrants and refugees, human rights, and international peace and conflict. He is committed to student-centered education and social change at Walden University.
