Deryus Tillman
Dr. Deryus J. Tillman DNP FNP-C received his undergraduate degree from Georgia Southern University. He completed his Master’s in Nursing and Hospital Leadership at Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Florida, his Master's Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Columbus State University and his doctorate at South University. Dr. Tillman has over ten years of critical care experience. Dr. Tillman has over 9 years of experience teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. He is currently the Assistant Director of Undergraduate nursing at Columbus State University. He has 12 years of nursing experience with a specialty in cardiac critical care. He is a nationally certified family nurse practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. He currently specializes in pediatric urgent care. He is active in various civic and professional organizations, including Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc., Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity, American Nurses Association, Black Nurses Rock Inc., and Sigma Theta Tau International Honors Society of Nursing.
