David Redmond received his Doctorate in Criminal Justice at Saint Leo University in 2023. He currently serves as an adjunct instructor in various criminal justice topics at Walden University to include Criminology and Social Control, Courts and Judicial Processes, Criminal Law, Controversies in Criminal Justice, and Social Responsibility and Ethics. Dr. Redmond holds a current certification as a sworn law enforcement officer and sworn corrections officer within the state of Florida, although he retired from active law enforcement duties in 2021. Professionally, Dr. Redmond has developed and taught a number of professional courses within the maritime industry for security personnel.
