David Redmond received his Doctorate in Criminal Justice at Saint Leo University in 2023. He currently serves as an adjunct instructor in various criminal justice topics at Walden University to include Controversies in Criminal Justice, Courts and Judicial Processes, Criminal Justice Ethics and Social Justice Capstone, Criminal Law, Criminology and Social Control, Dissertation Seminar 2, Foundations of Doctoral Study, Human Trafficking, and Social Responsibility and Ethics. Dr. Redmond is a former sworn law enforcement officer and sworn corrections officer within the state of Florida. He retired from active law enforcement duties in 2021. Professionally, Dr. Redmond has developed and taught a number of professional courses within the maritime industry for security personnel.
