Dr. Dean Gualco has taught at universities and colleges for over twenty years in such topics as leadership, ethics, management, organizational behavior, public administration, and education. He is the recipient of a Bachelors in Finance and an M.B.A. along with an additional Masters in Public Administration from the University of Southern California and a doctorate in Education from the University of the Pacific.

A 25-year veteran of the public sector, he has served as a human resource director and library director, including work at the University of California and the State of California. The multi-faceted Dr. Gualco is also the published author of nine books, including "The Good Manager: A Model for the 21st-Century Manager." He has received numerous book awards, including the coveted “Editor’s Choice” award from Barnes and Noble, and has appeared in over 200 nationally-published magazines, newspapers and media forums. His tenth book, titled, “A Nation of Business Owners: Creating the Model Business for the 21st Century” is scheduled to be published in 2021.

Teaching is one of Dr. Gualco's great passions. He believes that if we can educate the mind we can better the person, but if we can educate the soul we can better the world. Education can be this transformation event that creates a more moral, intellectual, and philosophical society, one that makes the right decisions at the right time and for the right reasons. He is honored to be part of that noble endeavor.
