Dr. Danyelle Brooks' formal training is in Counselor Education and Supervision and Community Counseling where she served in various roles over her 10+ year career. Dr. Brooks served as a clinical therapist within a community mental health setting as well as being the co-owner of a private practice in her hometown of Florence, Alabama and worked within various school settings from elementary, middle, and high schools. She then moved in to higher education positions in brick and mortar universities and now in the online setting with Walden. At Walden, she teaches Lifespan Development, as a contributing faculty member. She also continues to work in clinical counseling online from Nashville, Tennessee.
