Danielle Reinisch
Dr. Danielle Reinisch began her nursing career in 2010, specializing in maternal-newborn health. She continued to care for this population until 2016, when she transitioned into nursing academia. Her doctoral dissertation focused on evaluating the academic-practice partnership, aiming to align nursing academia with practice initiatives.Dr. Reinisch has taught both on-campus and online courses, covering a wide range of topics including nursing foundations, pathophysiology, public health nursing, and maternal-newborn care. In higher education, she has served on various committees such as Admissions and Progressions, Evaluation of Teaching, Curriculum, and IRB.At Walden University, Dr. Reinisch is a contributing faculty member in the Tempo Learning program, where she facilitates learning for several competencies for MSN students. A native of North Dakota, Dr. Reinisch finds joy in teaching and helping to shape the future leaders in nursing.
