Dr. Keith Mathis is an exclaimed business trainer and project management expert who helps organizations evangelize the project management message. While serving as a Southern Baptist pastor for 15 years, he learned project management skills in building new buildings, remodeling older facilities, and raising hundreds of thousands of dollars to pay them off. He takes those skills and shows many organizations how to use project management to control the project and expand effectiveness and efficiencies.

Since 1993, he has been training others in project management. His past clients are (FAA) the Federal Aviation Administration, the State of Kansas and Missouri, Ameren, MasterCard, United Nations, and AirBus.

He is an experienced speaker presenting over 10,000 presentations to state and federal agencies, associations, and companies of all sizes. He has helped thousands of project managers gain their PMP Certification through PMP Exam Prep Boot Camp and trained even more in multiple project management methodologies. Keith consistently has long-term relationships with his clients, returning to multiple speaking engagements for 12 to 15 years. Progressive companies demand his provocative, informative, humorous presentations and often electrifying platform speaker.

Keith is a featured speaker at Project Management chapters, universities, and corporate seminars, and in his flagship webinar series, he speaks to hundreds of clients monthly. He is an SME and associate professor for two graduate courses featuring traditional and agile project management and a doctoral chair for students gaining a DBA in project management. Keith is also volunteering to help train Ukrainian Project Managers, who are preparing restoration efforts for the future of their country. He is flexible by teaching in full-day formats, multi-day conferences, or one-hour keynotes for conventions.

Keith married his wife Wanda in 1993, the best person on the planet. They have four grown children and 13 grandchildren. Each summer, they host a week-long Gramp’s Camp for the grandchildren with a rule that “there are no parents.”
Keith holds a B.A. in Behavioral Science, an M.S. in Management, and a Ph.D. in Administration Management. He is a PMP Project Management Professional, PMI-ACP Agile Certified Professional, CSP-SM Certified Scrum Professional Scrum Master, CSP-PO Certified Scrum Professional Product Owner, ATP PMP Instructor, and COI (Certified Online Instructor).
