Kathy Disney has been involved in higher education for 23 years. Kathy is an in-class and online instructor teaching several subjects such as Fostering a Culture of Innovation, Marketing, Business Information Systems, Management, Project Management, Web Design, and Electronic Commerce. Kathy has served on several committees and conducted extensive research on student experiences in higher education. For three years she served as the Program Director for Computer Systems and Project Management programs at another University. Additionally, she was instrumental in bringing online programs to students using Blackboard and has a passion for online learning.

She served as a curriculum and instructional designer for in-class and online courses/programs, and conducted program reviews and prepared reports for accreditation in higher education. Kathy's background includes working for a University as a technical analyst for its PeopleSoft Student Administration and student/faculty self-service systems and served as the project manager for the implementation of Oracle's CRM OnDemand and OnDemand Marketing applications. Kathy's educational experiences include traveling to Mexico, China, and Slovakia teaching marketing classes and training staff on CRM and lead generation.

Kathy has taught online courses both at the undergraduate and graduate levels for Walden University for 19 years. The past 17 years she has taught for the MBA program teaching Marketing for Competitiveness, Managing Business Information Systems, and Fostering a Culture of Innovation most recently and for the Master of Marketing program teaching the capstone course: Marketing Strategy to Execution.

Kathy is currently working on her Doctoral Degree at Walden University. Completed course work and is in the proposal stage of the Doctoral Degree Capstone Project.
