Dr. Cynthia Jackson joined Walden University in December 2011 as a Contributing Faculty Member in the School of Counseling and Human Services. She is a licensed professional counselor (LPC), in the state of Tennessee. She has been in the field of Counseling since 2004. Her professional experiences include Counseling Coordinator, Training Clinical Student Counselors, and Counselor Educator Dr. Jackson has presented at both national and state professional counseling conferences. Her clinical interests include teens and anxiety, eating disorders, and depression.

She earned her PhD in Counselor Education from Tennessee State University in Nashville Tennessee.
