Having been from the beautiful peach state of Georgia, Dr. Blanson has enabled the opportunity to earn a Ph.D. in Information Technology (specializing in Information Security) from Capella University, an MBA & MA (Computer Resources and Information Management) from Webster University, a B.S. (Business Information Systems) from Paine College, and an A.S. (Computer Programming) from Augusta Technical College.

In addition to education/academia, having been employed within software application development, Dr. Blanson has provided opportunities for projects to include network security, NIST, vulnerability assessments and data analytics. Dr. Blanson's research interests include cyber-security and biometrics.
