Claudia Kozinetz
Claudia A. Kozinetz received her PhD in Epidemiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center Houston School of Public Health. She currently serves as a part-time faculty member at Walden in the College of Health Professions. She has taught graduate-level Epidemiology I and II, Field Epidemiology, Clinical Research Design and Analysis and Qualitative and Quantitative Research Methods at other colleges and universities. Professionally, Dr. Kozinetz has a career as an epidemiologist in many public health areas including pediatric HIV/AIDS, influenza epidemics and control, and environmental effects upon child health, growth, and development. She has an extensive record of external research funding, peer-reviewed publications, and presentations. Dr. Kozinetz is a Fellow in the American College of Epidemiology (ACE) and served as past-Chair of the Epidemiology Section of the American Public Health Association (APHA), and past-President of the Society for Pediatric and Perinatal Epidemiologic Research (SPER).
