Cheryl Cullen
Dr. Cheryl Cullen is senior contributing faculty at Walden University College of Healthcare Management where she facilitates health care leadership, ethics, economics, finance, and human resources management. Dr. Cullen serves as dissertation chair in the PhD and DHA programs. Dr. Cullen has 40+ years’ experience in progressive nursing leadership roles in nursing operations, director of nursing education, nurse manager labor and delivery, CCU, and cardiac Cath lab. For six years Dr. Cullen worked in the Bundled Payment Care Improvement (BPCI) space with acute and post-acute providers to ensure a safe patient transition to home. Readmission reduction, reduced length of stay in skilled rehabilitation facilities and aging in place improves the quality of health for our senior population and ultimately reduces health care spend. Dr. Cullen has authored several learning modules on subjects such as health care reimbursement, ethics, and population health.
