Cathryn Walker
Dr. White began her career as a special education instructor at the elementary, middle and high school levels. After earning an M. Ed., she served local school districts as supervisor, counselor, Assistant Director, Director of Special Education, Principal and central office consultant for high schools in the district. After earning an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership, and Cultural Studies she became an adjunct professor and clinical professor at University of St. Thomas and the University of Houston. She joined Walden University in fall 2013 working as a chair, methodologist, URR and Core URR specializing in qualitative methodology. Dr. White is a published author whose research interests include systemic change, inclusion, and students with disabilities, and leadership practices for education.
