Ph.D. Education

Dr. Watson received her PhD from Indiana University in June 2004. Her degree program was Instructional Systems Technology, with minors in Adult Education and Business. She has been teaching at Walden University since 2002, and has taught many classes over the years. She helped to develop the updated Leading Change course and enjoys teaching that course as well as mentoring graduate students. Her area of interests include student engagement approaches, technology in the classroom, and how faculty perceive hybrid classes. She has developed a hybrid version of introduction to Psychology for Indiana University, and consulted with various state organizations on how to provide effective learning experiences. In addition to her work with Walden University, she currently teaches Business Writing classes at Indiana University.
